It has been a WHILE since my last post... life has been very busy and wonderful. Adjusting to having 2 kids was a little challenging at first but we have been tkaing it day by day and everyday gets a little easier. Its hard to believe Em is going to be 3 in less then 2 months and Haley is already past 3 months old. Haley rolled over for the 1st time on May 19th. (The day she turned 3 months here is a pic from that day)

Potty training is still dragging on. Emily is just not wanting to do it. She knows everything she needs to do and wiil do it when she wants to. She enjoys playing and when she is focused on something it is very hard to get her to stop and "remember" to use the potty. It has been very frustrating. I am at the point where I feel like she should not be rewarded anymore for going and it is something that she should just do. No one rewards me for going.. lol We are hoping to get her into a preschool program in Sept. Part of me is scared but she is so smart and needs to be challenged more. Not to mention around that time is when Haley is going to become more mobile and I am so scared the Em is going to feel a little left out and that is the last thing I need. (Here is Em enjoying her 1st Dunks!)

My sister in law got engagged a few weeks ago and is planning a August wedding. Very excited and honored to have been asked to be one of her bridesmaides. Her special day is Aug 11th. It just so happens to be our wedding anniversary. It will be 5 years for us.

Mothers day was so wonderful this year! Here are a few pics from that day.

Haley is here!! It has been a few days... ok lets be honest... it has been almost 3 weeks since my last post. Haley was due Feb 18th, she decided to hold out and comeout on the 19th. She is healthy and happy.

Here is me 3 hrs before I had her... I was having a contraction while taking the pic!

Haley was born at 3:10pm, all natural... we got to the hospital an hour and 1/2 before I delivered her. The whole labor was 7 hrs long. AMAZING compaired to what I went through with Em.  Here is Miss Haley:

She is about 3 hrs old in this pic. Next we have Big sister Emily coming in and meeting her sister for the 1st time. Never have I felt so much Joy in my whole life!!  Em is an amazing big sister!
Proud daddy with his 2nd little girl. He is so out numbered!! Even our Dog is female! We love you Mister!

And then it was time to go home

It has been a very hectic 1st few weeks for Haley being home. Emily has been so very sick, after a trip to the Pediatrician we were told she has her 1st ear infection. That explains a lot! She has been going up and down with a fever between 99-102 for days now. She is now on the mend... We are very blessed to have to healthy and beautiful girls.

5 Days and counting... I'm counting... that's who's counting! It's amazing how a week ago I was chuckling at my baby shower with friends and family laughing and saying "WOW.. this pregnancy really flew by for me" and all I can say this week is... when is this going to be over? I get a text or 3 a day asking if there is any news... asking me how I am feeling and wondering if there is anything anyone can do for me. I love you all and appreciate all of you BUT unless you have something to get her out faster, or can tell me when is she going to stop pressing on the nerves in my legs that prevent me from walking it is safe to say I am good. *smile*

I have noticed that Emily over the last 3 days has really started to become attached to "her" daddy. Haley is not even here yet but Em is making it known to all around her that he is indeed "her" daddy. I think it is very cute and I think she is going to cling even more to him once Haley is born. I think it is going to be a very hard transition for her. Going from being an only child for so many years who is spoiled and loved by 3 sets of grandparents and 3 sets of great-grandparents. (She is very blessed to have so many of both in her life) to now having to share the "spotlight" so to say with someone else... well I think this is going to bring out a whole new side of Emily.  Don't get me wrong, she is so loving and caring. She sings to my belly all the time. She talks to her sister in there and tells her it is time for her to come out of the belly hole! The things she says are priceless!

Today I was able to sneak a pic of her giving my tummy a kiss.. Figured I would take advantage of the moment and snap it. God willing I am only going to have this belly for a few more days! Well nap time is almost over and I have a few things I need to take care of before Em wakes up. I would like to share a pic I took today of Em, she and I were playing with make up... Her eyes are just so stunning as they are.. add a little mascara and wow!  I love my little princess!

7 Day's.... It is hard to wrap my mind around that fact that our little girl is due in 7 Day's.. where has this pregnancy gone.  She has slowed down a lot in the last few days so maybe... just maybe it is a sign that she is coming. Em never slowed down so who knows.  She will come when she is ready.

Today has been a quiet Saturday. Em helped me do some baking this morning. We spent the afternoon doing some family projects. She and daddy made a cute little dolphin out of play dough, we painted and after much convincing we talked her out of wanting to redecorate the house with glitter. Glitter has become her most favorite thing lately. When we use it; we keep finding it for days later weather it is on us or all over the house. But if is makes her smile and that is all that matters.

Before naptime today Em helped me to make some Cranberry Homemade Granola. She is very much into cooking with me. It is so wonderful because those who know me know I love cooking and baking so very much!

So today during Miss Em's nap time I decided today might as well be a good a day as any to start a blog.  I though, what a great way to keep our family from out of state up with the happenings of our little but very soon to be expanding family.

"Taylor Tot" # 2 is due in 8 days from today. She seems to really like it in there and has really shown no signs of coming out to meet us anytime soon. Though I am hoping that she will be here much sooner then later. Her stubborn older sister decided she wanted to be 6 days late and put me through 78 hours of Labor (all of it I would do over in a heart beat and am scared to say could happen to me again with this one and yes all that aside I decided to have 1 more... They say you forget the pain and what you go through, I would have to say there has to be some real truth to that statement or I would not be doing this again.

But then there is another side of me that thinks she maybe coming sooner then we all think.. I have however found myself looking on pintrest for interesting meals and snacks that I can make in the next few days that can be had for meals and leftovers frozen for future meals. (Planning ahead for Miss Haley's arrival) If you have never heard of pintrest or used it, it is very addicting but has a lot of wonderful ideas for crafts to do with kids and a lot of DYI projects. My favorite part are all the wonderful recipes I have tried over the last month.  Well since my little princess is refusing to sleep today, like yesterday am going to close here for now.  The pic below was from last week. I look pretty much the same but have dropped some.  We are so looking forward to meeting our new little princess!
